**Are you interested in independent work helping and supporting people with disability to have a good life?**Let us introduce you to 49-year-old lady who loves long walks, dogs, chocolate and great company. Friends, family and supports describe her as full of love and kindness with an affectionate nature and an innate sense of what others are feeling. This bright and happy lady acquired a brain injury thirty years ago which impacted her ability to live the life she’d envisaged. She currently lives in her own home next door to her sister and engages in a full and active life which is facilitated by 24-hour support from her wonderful team of carers.

**The Role**You will also be rostered for one day shift and one overnight shift per week which will allow you to build and maintain a meaningful relationship whilst developing a deep understanding of this lady’s skills, abilities and interests.The day is structured with routines that include personal care, daily walks, household duties, shopping and community activities. After a full morning, this lady enjoys some relaxing time to herself after lunch, when she likes to listen to the radio or take a short nap before embarking on her second walk for the day. Whilst she enjoys the local area, she also loves to hop in the car and explore local parklands and beaches. The evening routine includes meal preparation and assisted personal care before winding down for bed.**Hours**You will be rostered for one day shift and one overnight shift per.

**Day shift - 9am - 3pm**

Overnight - 3pm - 9am

**Requirements**:
**Own a vehicle and open a driver’s license**

Current Police Check (or willing to obtain)

**Current First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)**

Experience working with people with different abilities is desirable.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $40.00 - $43.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 24 per week
