Do you want to brighten someone’s day and support them to live in their own home? We have Part Time Support Worker - Domestic Assistant opportunities available across northern Tasmania. We are seeking Support workers willing to travel across areas and be paid kilometres for this
About the role
As a Calvary Community Care Support Worker you will help meet the individual needs and choices of clients and assist with daily living tasks. These tasks may include domestic assistance, transport, meal preparation, and social support.
As a new starter you will learn on the job completing buddy shifts with ongoing training and support as you gain confidence in your role. With the continuing guidance and support of a Team Leader, you will regularly attend training and meetings to catch-up with the team, working together to support the needs of our clients.
We are looking for caring and helpful people to join our team to promote independence in the community for those we care for.
What you bring
Current and valid Driver’s Licence, insured, reliable motor vehicle
Good verbal and written communication skills including excellent customer service
Ability to work by yourself and manage your time
