**About Us**

We are a high-end, French-inspired patisserie and have been in business for close to thirty years.

**The Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced and passionate **Retail Shop Manager** to lead our flagship patisserie at St Ives.

As a retail and customer-focused manager, you will lead the team to deliver the best possible service to all our customers and maintain a consistently high standard.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Overseeing the hiring, training and day-to-day supervision of staff
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations
- Manage and motivate a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Oversee product range, inventory levels and service quality standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and staff
- Manage daily operations and ensure an exceptional in-store experience
- Handle stock control, customer feedback and problem resolution
- Open and close the store as required
- Meet KPIs while adhering to budgetary guidelines

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Retail Shop Manager in Australia, managing team of 15+ in a fast-paced café/ retail environment
- Full working rights in Australia (mandatory)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage difficult situations in a fast-paced environment
- Resilient, proactive, and hands-on approach with a “can-do” attitude and a genuine care factor
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example and motivate a team to meet achieve excellent customer service goals

- Proven leadership experience within a fast-paced environment
- Sound decision-making and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- High attention to personal and store presentation
- Ablity to implement and manage in-store promotions
- Keen interest to inspire others to learn and develop
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, late finishes and weekends
- Passion for people, service, food, beverage and coffee, creating memorable experience
