**The Role**

Reporting to the Learning Diversity Leader, this role is responsible for ensuring that the learning and teaching programs at Thomas Carr College are contemporary, rigorous, engaging and reflect the College’s vision and values. Ideally this will be a teacher with a specific qualification in this area of education and or a teacher with primary education training and experience.

**Skills and experience**

Demonstrate a strong understanding of, and commitment to, Catholic education
- Demonstrate an understanding and acceptance of the Thomas Carr College Vision and Mission Statement and the values that underpin it
- Show the capacity to provide leadership that is characterised by a desire for continuous improvement, lateral thinking and innovation
- Demonstrate proven organisational skills
- Demonstrate highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise and communicate effectively with people at all levels and from varying backgrounds
- Work independently and effectively in the face of changing priorities, deadlines and pressures
- Demonstrate the qualities of an exemplary teacher
