The Role

We are currently seeking experienced Armed Guards who have a high level of customer service. To be selected for this role you must be able to demonstrate the attributes of presence, maturity and the ability to follow and execute Standard Operating Procedures.

As an Armed Guard at ESS you will have the opportunity to participate in regular and ongoing training and development opportunities. When you first commence in the role you will attend a 3 day tactical training course and this is just the beginning of the upskilling opportunities you will receive on a quarterly basis.

This is a full time permanent position, based in the south-eastern suburbs with the majority of work being Monday - Friday 6am - 6pm (with occasional weekend shifts).

Your primary duties will include:

- Unlocking and locking up the site
- Searching and securing the premise
- Ensuring the site is safe through regular patrols
- Screening and monitoring vehicles and persons on site
- Scanning mail
- Reviewing cctv footage
- Identifying and reporting any incidents and/or hazards

Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience as an Armed Security Officer
- Certificate III in Security Operations and Firearms
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Australian Driver's License
- Victorian Security License
- Victorian Handgun License (Semi-Auto)
- Working with Children Check
- Covid-19 vaccination in line with state requirements
