Join Our Team as a Yard Hand at APS

Are you passionate about cars and looking for an exciting opportunity in Melbourne's Western suburbs? APS, a premier Labor solutions provider in the Transport, Logistics, Warehousing, and Manufacturing sectors, invites experienced Yard Hands to be part of a leading 3PL operation with sites in Truganina and Port Melbourne.

This is a casual position working full time hours, with weekend OT available.

**Shifts available.**
- Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm - $30.92.
- Monday to Friday 10am - 6pm. - $30.92.

**Your duties may include but will not be limited to**:

- Welcome customers during car releases
- Complete detailed condition reports for vehicles
- Relocating auto / manual cars into car spaces and dispatch lanes.
- Collaborate with the yard team to meet daily KPIs
- Performing daily safety checks on site.
- Maintain cleanliness with housekeeping duties
- Safely drive both manual and automatic cars
- Handle washing/detailing tasks
- Manage customer and car-related paperwork

**To be successful for this role you will need**:

- A full Australian drivers licence
- Forklift ticket an advantage
- Detailing experience an advantage
- Good vehicle experience - Must understand the importance of diligence and care factor for cars
- Proven experience of working in and around vehicles
- Be competent driving manual and automatic cars
- Available for work Monday to Friday
- Excellent attention to detail
- Own clean and appropriate PPE (HiVis Vest, Work Pants and Steel Cap Boots)
- Positive attitude
- Own reliable car and licence
- MSIC Card or willingness to obtain
- All interviews will be completed via virtual methods. _
- Must Hold Clear Driving Record _
- Must hold unlimited working rights._
