About the role
We currently are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team based at Crestmead. The main responsibility for this role is coordinating Warehouse and distribution activities across the Distribution centre while driving results through a best-in-class DC team to support the delivery of site POAP targets. The role will also provide the first point of contact for warehouse related Safety, Facilities, Operational and Service issues.
Other responsibilities- Co-ordination of DC to ensure timely dispatch of product to meet customer order requirements- Ensuring suppliers and other interdependent parties achieve required service levels and assist in supply reviews (SRM)- Ensure transport accuracy and costs are within budget and identify opportunities for optimisation/value creation- Ensure the site is compliant with Bega national safety systems and work with counterparts to achieve safety principles- Manage route network and support any issues and challenges
About you- Experience in a similar role coordinating logistics in a distribution centre environment- Transport and warehousing knowledge in a FMCG environment- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail- Results oriented, desire and drive for continuous improvement- High level of Excel and Systems knowledge (SAP, TMS, WMS)
