**Your Role and Responsibilities**

This role is responsible for:

- They are also responsible for analyzing first-level problems for all systems (according to the service agreements), follow incident and change management processes for resolving and routing as appropriate, and supporting the Systems Management Processes specific to Kyndyl and customer requirements.
- The employee actions alerts and resolve issues following work instructions. Where this is not provided, we are also required to prioritize tasks and choose the best recovery method under second/third-level support guidance.
- Availability to work 24*7 rotating shifts and also additional shifts as per coverage requirements - including weekends.
- Continue technical education with the expectation to move into a level-2 support role after 2 years as a computer operator.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Computer Operator supporting Mainframe and MidRange Platforms
- Systems and Network Monitoring
- Batch Processing, Problem, incident and Change Management
- Govt NV1 Clearance is a requirement to support HA services.

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
- JCL, zOS, TSO, ISPF, OPS/MVS, change control, incident management, problem control, batch scheduling tools like ControlM, TWS, CA-7, output management, security and batch automation principles, System IPLs via Automation and manually.
- Demonstrated skills in technical and operational support management.
- Process management and improvement skills. AGILE, LEAN, ITIL
- Understanding of Mainframe or Midrange operating platforms.

**Required Education**

Technical Diploma

Bachelor's Degree
