Permanent Inventory Planning Leader required for an innovative, leading SA Manufacturing company
Your new company is a well-established family-owned manufacturing business who are a leader in their field

Your new role as Inventory Planning Leader will be to act as a key member of the Group Supply leadership team. You will be responsible for lowering costs, managing inventory and working collaboratively with the wider operations team.
- Providing leadership that will challenge, develop, and inspire the inventory planning team to focus on improvement across all areas of performance and to deliver on agreed outcomes and objectives
- Expanding and improving group supply chain systems
- Driving service excellence and lowering transactional costs associated with supply of goods and reductions in finished goods required to meet service expectations
- Proactively managing supply gaps, shortfalls and transitions clarifying and simplifying what is required to meet and exceed customer expectations SLA design and management with sales divisions
- Working with sales business to manage inventory levels to budget
- Adding commercial acumen to supply model evaluations
- Driving age stock reduction an inventory turns
- Challenging existing practises on service proposition to ensure we continue to add value to our customers
- Ensuring engagement and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in the business, including providing information, understanding needs, obtaining information and feedback on the supply chain function

What you'll need to succeed is the ability to analyse data and have strong reporting skills. Strong commercial acumen demonstrated in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. The ability to lead, manage and develop people.
