**Position Summary**:
Join a prominent fashion retail company in Melbourne as a Data Entry Officer, where you will play a crucial role in processing purchase orders, automating product tagging, and managing stock. Utilize your experience in data entry, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced skills in **Microsoft Excel such as Pivot tables and VLOOKUP**, to deliver a seamless shopping experience for fashion enthusiasts who value the finest global brands.
**Responsibilities**:
- Process purchase orders and create order files for uploading to the point of sale (POS) system.
- Utilize VEND to automate product tagging and manage product associations.
- Oversee stock management, including weekly stock reconciliation.
- Manage product listings across various platforms.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Demonstrated work experience in data entry.
- Previous experience in the fashion industry.
- Familiarity with IT or finance backgrounds and basic coding knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong typing speed and accuracy.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Excellent grasp of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Organizational skills with the ability to stay focused on assigned tasks.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to commute to the office in Melbourne city from Monday to Friday.
- Must have full work rights in Australia.
