**Job Summary**

Manage the day to day running of the Warehouse/Store and Logistics, storage and safekeeping of goods and ensuring that data related to the stores are accurate and inventory management system is maintained.

Receive goods from suppliers, check the goods for damage and store it appropriately. Track the movement of goods and are responsible for all paperwork relating to the receiving and dispatching of goods.

Delivery and collection of product and materials using company transport.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

The duties and responsibilities of a Store Person vary depending on the store in which they work, but can include:

- Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock
- Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items
- Updating inventory management systems regularly
- Picking and delivering goods by using a Reach forklift
- Organising and delivering goods from the store to the department or site that requires it
- Kitting and issuing tools, components and materials to the Shop Floor as specified by the Job Card in a timely manner to meet manufacturing schedules.
- Goods inwards documentation checking, goods checking and acceptance of all deliveries to stock.
- Ensure all received stock is undamaged and that everything ordered is present and accounted for.
- Ensuring all tools are returned, checked, recorded and placed correctly in the Tool Stores.
- Ensuring the Project Managers and Production Team are informed of low stock and other shortages which may require re-ordering.
- Ensure all products are suitably packaged and that delivery service used is adequate to meet customer requirements.
- Maintain a safe working environment within the Stores areas and all current Health and Safety legislation is observed. Including basic “house-keeping”.
- Delivery and collection of product and material as required.
- Performing any other duties that may be deemed necessary to ensure the effective running of the Department and Company.
- Ensure daily ‘House Keeping’ is done.
- Ensuring the yard is maintained, kept clean, clear and presentable at all times.

**Skills and Qualifications**

Store Person need a range of skills and qualifications to perform their duties effectively. These skills and qualifications include:

- Basic IT skills and a working knowledge of inventory management systems and word processing software, excel spreadsheets
- Current & Valid Full Driver’s License
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work methodically and quickly
- Excellent time management skills and exceptional work ethic
- Ability to stand on their feet for long hours
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
- Teamwork skills and ability to work independently
- A “can do attitude”

The role will be Monday to Friday. Overtime will be available during busy periods.
