**1x ongoing opportunity available now in Yass for 17.5 hrs per week**

**2x Full time temporary roles available for up to 12 months in Ulladulla/Batemans Bay**

**1x Part time temporary role available up to 12 months 21 hrs per week in Goulburn**

**A recruitment pool will be created to fill future vacancies in the Southern district.**

NSW Department of Communities and Justice is the largest Child Protection agency in Australia and are looking for Caseworker Support Officers to join their team

**About the role**

As a Casework Support Worker, you will help caseworkers in their day-to-day work supporting children, young people, families and communities in varied and challenging circumstances.

No two days will be the same. One day you will be helping caseworkers prepare documentation or will help with case planning for children and young people and the next day you’ll be sourcing and sharing information about families and making referrals or appointments. You will also work directly with children and families and will be required to pick-up and transport children to appointments and visits with their family members.

Due to the direct nature of the role, you will be required to work at the local Department of Communities and Justice office.

- A competitive base salary range $74,117-$81,158 plus superannuation and annual leave loading

- Flexible working conditions including a 140 hour month

**What you need**
- have a valid drivers licence
- have a TAFE Diploma in a relevant field, welfare / community services, OR relevant work experience deemed to be the equivalent experience
- As a Casework Support Worker, you will be operating in an environment of competing demands and tight timeframes.
