Housekeeper - Mining Mobile Camps, Fifo

Easternwell has rebranded to Ventia. Ventia's Hospitality staff are focused on providing cleaning/catering services to all field-based staff on our mobile camps and villages to provide a home away from home in remote and diverse country across Queensland.

**About the Roles**:
We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest for our Housekeeping roles, an exciting opportunity of Fly in Fly out (FiFo) on our remote Oil and Gas mining camps. Ventia's Housekeepers pride themselves on creating a clean and welcoming home away from home to all field-based staff whilst they are working/living in remote and diverse country across Queensland. These roles are highly autonomous and working within a close-knit team reporting directly to the Camp Manager, this role is not just about cleaning rooms, you are also providing exceptional customer service and helping out your team in other area's when needed.

Ventia's Housekeepers are responsible to ensure a high standard of cleanliness in Camp facilities across accommodation rooms and communal areas including shared amenities and public areas.

Duties can include (but not limited to):

- Entire room cleaning
- making beds (including bunk beds), cleaning bathrooms, showers, toilets within specific timeframes and to an exceptional standard
- Full laundry services including wash, dry and folding
- Other general cleaning and housekeeping duties of communal areas (dining room, gym, walkways, outdoor areas etc.)
- May be required to complete other duties such as transporting/delivering meals to field staff, assisting with stock deliveries, food preparation etc.

**About You**:

- Ability to work autonomously with strong time management skills
- Adhere to Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Manual Drivers Licence **_mandatory_**:

- Physically fit, ability to stand on feet for long periods and complete physical duties such as walking long distances, bending, lifting, stretching etc
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol test
- Ability to work away from home for long periods of times in harsh weather conditions
- Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Hold a current National Police Check Certificate (or willing to obtain)
