**What You Will Be Doing**
The Social Work Graduates across the program will be supported by a structured education program, individualised learning plan and weekly supervision via 1:1 and peer models. A successful applicant will move into either the Child and Youth stream, the Aged Mental Health stream or Adult Mental Health stream where a six-month rotation between either inpatient, residential or community services will occur. With a protected workload, weekly supervision and regular educational opportunities, this 12-month role is designed to enable and support transition to mental health practice and provide opportunities for ongoing employment within mental health services at Peninsula Health on completion.

**What You Need**
We anticipate you will have:

- Bachelor or Qualifying Master’s degree (MSWq) in social work enabling eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- A sound knowledge and interest in the provision of social work services to people with mental health issues
- Knowledge of current social work practices relevant to mental health and an ability to articulate theoretical basis for practice
