**The Opportunity**

The primary role of the Service Technician is to provides on-site repairs, service, upgrades and installations of our B&D and ATA branded openers and doors. The role requires technical aptitude and strong motivation to deliver great customer service.

Day to day you’ll be:

- Servicing 6-7 servicing calls per day within the defined territory
- Providing our customers with preventative maintenance, installation, servicing, and repairs.
- Maintaining an unparalleled level of knowledge and insight to perform your primary tasks of service and sales

You will be provided with a formal and structured training program covering the breadth of the technical and sales skills you will need to deploy in the field.

You’ll bring clear and professional communication skills with the ability to adapt to your audience. As a great team player, you’ll be able to self-manage, and work collaboratively with your peers in a constantly growing and changing environment.

- A strong customer service focus with a commitment to get the job done.
- Confident making recommendations on products and upgrades when appropriate.
- Ability to liaise and various internal teams
- Proficient computer and technology skills.
- A “hands-on” approach to problem solving.

We are open to service technicians from a variety of backgrounds as we will provide best practice training to anyone that joins the business. If you are motivated and willing to learn you will be supported with ongoing in-field coaching and access to technical support to extend your career forward.
