**Positions Summary**

This role plays a key part in assisting Quality Assurance team maintaining the highest possible quality standards and processes for product quality, food safety standards and supporting systems within the production team from receivals of raw materials right through to dispatch of finished goods.

Overall responsibility of this production-based role is to manage total Quality Control activities & provide supervision within the Yennora manufacturing plant that includes but not limited to management of Critical Control Points (CCPs), Quality Control Points (QCPs), Regulatory Control Points (RCPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) activities in ensuring Quality & Food Safety standards are complying at all the time.

The role is also responsible for assisting Quality Assurance team in completing all verification activities related to HACCP, HACCP Pre Requisite Programs, GMP, GFSI and Customer standards.

The checks and responsibilities outlined are not an exhaustive list task. The tasks may be revised from time to time depending on business needs and requirements. On the job training will be provided with a detailed competency assessment completed at the end of the training.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Work closely with chefs, head chefs, production managers & production supervisors to ensure Quality & Food Safety parameters are maintained at all times during manufacturing process.
- Assist MYMC Quality Assurance Team in maintaining day to days verification activities related to HACCP prerequisite programs for the site that includes but not limited to management of Cook & Chill time monitoring, X-Ray verification & rejections, pest control, cleaning and sanitation, foreign object control, allergen management, control of non-conforming products and other QCP, RCP, OPRP program monitoring activities etc.
- Manage retention sampling program and relevant verification activities e.g., weekly sensory testing panels.
- Supervise preoperational inspections conducted by the production staff and assist QA & Production teams in placing corrective & preventative actions for any non-conformances identified during these inspections.
- Ensure line clearance is achieved as per the Quality standards during production change overs.
- Ensure “One Flow Process “is maintained within the factory. Any non-conformances to the approved processes are raised in timely manners with the site QA team. Agreed corrective actions are implemented & maintained ongoingly for compliance.
- Ensure compliance to people and equipment flow as per the factory standards
- Assist in Reporting / trending / documenting all production & quality related non-conformities and outcomes.

**Technical Compliance**
- Actively engage in food safety and quality tasks as required within the MMC technical processes as required.
- Ensure Quality documents are completed correctly and accurately by the operation teams and submitted for review and approval to the site QA team in timely fashion

**Other Skills and Responsibilities**
- Experience in a similar role within the food industry be highly desirable.
- A commitment to the principles of food safety and drive to uphold those principles.
- Competent in written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work in hot and cold processing food manufacturing environment.
- A disciplined, proactive approach to timelines and compliance to procedures.

**Additional Information**
- Night Shift rate $29.60 per hour plus super.
- It's a night shift role in the kitchen and blast chiller covering QC activities
- 12 hour shift - 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM shift, Monday to Sunday. Weekend rate for Saturday & Sunday shifts
- Fortnight roster working 3 days in the first week and 4 days in the second week
