Store Person

As Store person, duties include receiving, checks and examines the inventory of stock that arrives into the hotel and storage facilities where stock is held. Incoming goods are cross referenced against the invoices from Purchase Orders to ensure there are no discrepancies.

Reporting to our Purchasing Manager & Purchasing Officer, this role will see you:
Receiving and ordering stock according to Capella SOP's
Maintaining the security of stock, stock control and quality assurance.
Completing internal stock transfers and stocktake of bars and restaurants.
Assisting our Purchasing Manager with stock takes.
Cleaning and maintaining equipment, cool rooms, freezers and storerooms.
Ensuring required hygiene standards and general housekeeping in stores, and product handling are maintained.
Maintaining the stores accordance with Workplace, Health and Safety guidelines and regulations.

About you;
Be able to work early starts and have flexibility to potentially work Saturday's if necessary.
Good level of physical fitness as this is a hands-on role.
Must have high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Solid computer skills and intermediate excel skills.
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experiences in similar role in luxury hotels/resorts
Understanding of HACCP procedures and WHS guidelines, particularly around manual handling
Personable character with a passion to build strong guest relations
Good command in written and spoken English
Valid working rights in Australia
