We are looking for a skilled, mechanical technician, to join our experienced team, on a full time, permanent basis, in delivering energy and emissions management and solutions to our clients.

We would love to talk to people with a mechanical background however the critical part is finding someone who will integrate well into our team and be able to contribute to the delivery of high-quality services.

Based at our Wangara branch, this role will involve travel to sites within the Perth Metro area and wider WA.

**The role**:

- Install and commission motors and mechanical parts on existing fleet within our Hydrocarbons and Hybrid assets
- Maintain, test and repair diesel motors and all mechanical parts of trailers, tanks, dispensing systems and generators including suspension, steering and brakes and all functioning components
- Fault finding, maintenance and repair, dismantling and re-assembly of all mechanical and motorised equipment and assets
- Conduct preventative maintenance service and repair including oil changes, filters and lubrications of existing diesel and hybrid fleet motors including trailers, tanks, generators, hybrid and battery equipment and all vehicles
- Inspects and test hybrid and solar equipment and vehicles to ensure client ready
- Conduct inspections and maintenance in line with Fuelfix strategy to reduce emissions year on year
- Conduct pre licensing inspections on all trailers to achieve road worthiness for licensing

**About you**:

- Relevant Trade qualifications with experience in the motor industry essential
- Experience/Qualifications with hybrid and electric vehicles (HV/EV) highly desirable
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills with close attention to detail
- Repairing, replacing and testing mechanical parts experience essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 45 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
