**About the Role**

We are seeking a qualified Manufacturer with experience in board-building. You will be able to work with polyester and epoxy surfboard resins and be competent in the areas of lamination, filler coating, sanding, and polishing.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Oversee the manufacturing and production of polyester and epoxy surfboard resins through all phases of development, including shaping, sanding, laminating and finishing
- Adhere to quality standards as set by Onboard’s policy and manage quality issues, ensuring procedures and processes are reviewed regularly
- Monitor and order raw materials, supplies and equipment as required
- Effectively communicate with and coordinate the manufacturing and warehouse team to ensure production runs to budget and schedule and orders are delivered
- Undertake research to identify opportunities for business growth including optimising current manufacturing processes and developing new products for manufacture

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Qualification in manufacturing or relevant field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within manufacturing, with at least 3 years’ experience in the surfboard industry
- Able to surf for research and development

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
