**Role Overview**:
As a Support Worker at Empower Path, you will play a crucial role in providing direct support to individuals with disabilities, fostering independence, and promoting a positive and inclusive environment. Your responsibilities will include:

- Passion for supporting individuals with Disability.
- Follow through with commitments and build great relationships.
- Willingness to travel to participant' homes within the specified service locations
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Ability to think and act calmly and deal with sensitively in times of destress for the participant.
- Be adaptive and exercise initiative whilst following Empower Path policies and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Reliable, punctual, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Flexibility in working hours and approach.
- Go above and beyond (even when no one is looking)

**Key Requirements**:

- 1 year of experience as a support worker is preferred but not necessary.
- Must have a Valid Australian Driver’s License and a Vehicle.
- Mandatory NDIS Orientation and Induction modules must be completed before commencing employment.
- Working with Children Check and NDIS Screening Check must be cited before commencing employment.
- Be strong, resilient, and adaptable in challenging scenarios.
- Excellent communication skills.

Position: Disability Support Worker
Location: In Person (all around Sydney)
, Part-time, Casual, Subcontract

**Salary**: $34.22 - $44.68.

**Schedule**:

- Monday to Sunday
- Morning shift
- Day shift
- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability

**Supplemental pay types**:

- Performance bonus

**Licence/Certification**:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

**Work Authorisation**:

- Australia
