**Your New Role - Business Development Manager**
The Business Development Manager will report to the WA Manager and will be responsible for building and developing relationships with potential clients through the provision of excellent customer service and extensive

business knowledge.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Developing sales strategy and target account listings.
- Providing excellence in customer service ensuring repeat business.
- Building and developing relationships with potential clients.
- Following up on potential business opportunities and securing appointments to discuss freight forwarding requirements.
- Managing the follow up of client complaints utilising the QHSE sys/ EcoOnline system.
- Supervising and mentoring the Sales and Marketing Coordinator.
- Traveling to various client bases throughout WA.
- Preparing and submitting quotations.
- Planning and developing presentations.
- Assisting in the development of marketing literature.

**What you will need to succeed**:

- Minimum of 5 year’s experience in a Business Development role.
- Previous experience working for a shipping / freight forwarding company
- Previous management experience with a strong ability to drive, develop and motivate team members.
- Business Development Manager experience
- Advanced negotiation and relationship skills.
- Experience influencing and engaging key figures in client organisations.
- Strong financial expertise with demonstrated ability to develop and implement business structures.
- Positive and professional attitude.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
- High attention to detail and strong planning and organising skills.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
