**STAR Group** is searching for people to expand the strength and complement the skill sets of our foundation team that we have already crafted to deliver the **John Hunter Hospital Campus Redevelopment Project **successfully. As such, we seek expression of interest in the Newcastle and Central Coast regions for trade-related positions with a Communications based skillset.

**The Project**

Health Infrastructure is redeveloping the **John Hunter Health Campus** to deliver enhanced facilities and provide additional capacity to meet the growing demands in the Greater Newcastle, Hunter New England and northern NSW regions.

The ASB (Acute Services Building) is a new building that sits adjacent to the existing John Hunter Hospital, configured of:

- an 8-story ASB, with roughly 65,000m2 of GFA & 90,000m2 of GBA
- A Semi basement car park under the ASB, four storeys with roughly 45,000m2 GFA/GBA
- A new podium retail pavilion to an external terrace of the ASB with approximately 600m2 of GFA
- Multiple link bridges from the new ASB to the existing hospital
- Two off Heli Pads on the roof

The refurbishment works of the existing hospital comprise the following:

- Roughly 11,000m2, the primary scope within this for new Inpatient Units
- Refurbishment of the current main entry/drop off

**The Opportunity**

**Communications Trade-Related Roles**
- People with previous experience in delivering Communications installations in the construction industry and has the required Telecommunications accreditation (ASIAL telecommunications cabling license) and (preferably) Cert III and any previous vendor-based training and Fluke training certification.
