Online Arabic Tutor

**Job Type**: Part-time, Contract

**Job Summary**:
The Arabic Language Centre is seeking a skilled and experienced Online Arabic Tutor to provide high-quality Arabic language instruction to students of all levels. As an online Arabic Tutor, you will be responsible for creating engaging and interactive lesson plans, teaching classes through online platforms, and assessing student progress.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver effective and engaging online Arabic language lessons to students of all levels, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced.
- Utilize a variety of teaching techniques and methods to facilitate language learning, including using audio, visual aids, and interactive tools.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide feedback on areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and grades.
- Collaborate with the Arabic Language Centre team to develop curriculum and teaching materials.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in Arabic language teaching.

**Requirements**:

- A Degree in Arabic and/or Teaching
- Native or near-native proficiency in Arabic.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience teaching Arabic as a foreign language.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms and tools.
- Must be located in Australia.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Note: This role will progress to face-to-face teaching if required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Freelance, Contract
Contract length: 10 months
Part-time hours: 4 per week

**Salary**: $22.84 - $45.00 per hour
