We are a family owned Centre and are licensed for 36 children aged 6 weeks to 5 years of age.

**We are looking for a passionate Cook to join our team working Monday to Friday 8.30am - 12.30pm. This would suit someone looking to work school hours.**

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Provide healthy, balanced, meals consisting of five-food groups over the course of the day
- Prepare meals including lunch, afternoon tea and late snack in a timely manner that fits the centre’s routines for the children
- Cater for children with allergies and dietary requirements
- Maintain a high level of health & safety standards at all times
- Ensure that all food is stored in compliance with Health Regulations
- Complete weekly food order
- Complete and file all checklists to ensure that proof of compliance is being maintained at all times in accordance with our centre food plan (training provided)

**In order to be successful in this position, you will require**:

- Experience and passion for creating healthy meals for children
- Hold relevant food handling certificates (or willing to obtain one)
- Experience cooking for a Care and Education preferred but not essential
- Current WA working with children check (or willing to obtain one)
- Allergy awareness knowledge/training (or willing to obtain one)
- Have knowledge and understanding of nutritional standards and menu planning

We have our own nutritious menus, which are reviewed and revised throughout the year
