Wantirna, Australia Inclusive Nursing and Support Full time

We are currently seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team in WANTIRNA. Our client requires support staff experienced with Epilepsy and Global Developmental Delay.

Shifts are 6:30am-9:30am and 3:30pm-7:30pm weekdays, weekends and school holidays are all day shifts. We are looking for applicants with availability for any of these shifts.

We are looking for applicants who can ideally work around 20-30 hours a week. Work ranging from high care support to companionship shifts for clients on the NDIS and Aged Care sector.

**Duties may include-**
- Personal care
- Manual handling
- General household tasks
- Skill development
- assisting clients with shopping and cooking.
- Transportation to appointments
- Social and community participation

**Requirements-**
- Certificate III in Individual Support/Certificate III in Aged Care/ Certificate IV Disability Support (or similar)
- Experience in support work aged care or similar caring role is ESSENTIAL
- Current National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Valid Working With Children’s Check (or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Current First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)
- Must have a FULL drivers license and reliable transport
- Full working rights within Australia

**Job Type: Casual**
Remuneration: $35.00-$91.00 per hour
Expected hours: Minimum 20 hours per week

**Supplementary pay includes-**
- Penalty rates
- Travel reimbursement
