**SALARY - **$58,000 - $70,000

**WORK TYPE - **Full-time Position

**LOCATION - **749 Main St, Kangaroo Point QLD 4169

We are currently looking to appoint Childcare Centre Manager who can effectively deliver and evaluate early learning programs to join our friendly, professional team. The position requires someone who is dedicated, confident and articulate in early childhood pedagogy and practice. You will be supported by a team of highly professional educators and management.

**DUTIES**:

- Developing and implementing programs to enhance the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of young children
- Providing care for children in before-school, after-school, day, and vacation care centres
- Directing and supervising child carers in providing care and supervision for young children
- Ensuring the centre is a safe area for children, staff and visitors
- Complying with relevant government requirements and standards
- Liaising with parents
- Maintaining records and accounts for the centre
- Recruiting staff and coordinating professional development

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:

- An ACECQA nationally approved diploma level (or higher) education and care qualification
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Preferred at least 2 years’ work experience in the sector
- A well-developed understanding of theories of early childhood development, including current research would be welcomed
- Current First Aid CPR and emergency Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- A current and valid Working with Children’s Check (Blue Card) or exempt card
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

**Salary**: $58,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
