**How will I help?**

As an Executive Manager, Record Manager/Data Steward (BCM), within Cash & Transactional Banking (CTB), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our records management lifecycle and data risk management activities. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting the Line of Business (LOB), Business Units (BU), and regional stakeholders by leading and influencing our management of data, and ensuring the business is executing comprehensive records management tasks in alignment with our Records and Information Management (RIM) program.

In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience in data and records or information management to oversee the entire lifecycle of records, from retention and classification to disposal. Your ability to understand and interpret policies related to the RIM data risk framework will ensure that all records management activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards. By maintaining meticulous records and implementing robust data risk management practices, you will help safeguard our organisation's data assets and support our commitment to operational excellence.

Reporting to the Head of Business Controls and Monitoring, this role is responsible for 3 key areas:

- **Understand foundational RM processes and compliance**
- Develop and maintain robust baseline RRT processes, aligned to the BU’s requirements
- Facilitate RRT annual reviews and updates to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements
- Provide guidance on the implementation of RRT processes and requirements to the BU
- **Operational proficiency in managing complex RM processes**
- Design and maintain comprehensive RM process maps for key activities, ensuring alignment with BU’s objectives
- Identify areas for process improvement within existing RM frameworks, leveraging industry best practices
- Support RAS reporting by providing insights into process performance metrics
- **Drive continuous improvement & collaboration**
- Champion RM objectives within the BU, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive RM initiatives that enhance efficiency and effectivenessUtilise feedback from stakeholders to refine RM processes, ensuring they remain fit for purpose**What's in it for me?**

**What do I need?**
- 10+ years operational risk experience in banking or other financial services environment
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to demonstrate long-term relationship building skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to present to senior levels
