**Key duties and responsibilities**
Reporting to the Production Manager your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Assisting the Production Manager in day to day activities, ensuring a smooth work flow and providing supervision where required
- Operation of filling equipment
- Ensuring production adheres to quality standards and completing required documentation
- Adhering to production schedule
- Maintain clean work environment
- Ensuring OHS standards are maintained
- Weighing and preparing raw materials for mixing and batching
- Blending and packing batches according to the batch sheet
- Moving materials around site with a forklift
**To be considered for this role you must have the following**:
- Must have demonstrated experience as a Machine Operator, ideally as a leading hand
- Experience handling and working with chemicals will be well regarded
- Current forklift licence and experience, Reach forklift experience desirable
- Strong focus on workplace safety
- Lifting up to 25kg
- Fantastic problem solving abilities
**Salary**: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
**Experience**:
- Machine operation: 1 year (preferred)
- leading hand: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (preferred)
Work Location: In person
