**About the Position**

***We are looking to welcome an**In Home Support Worker**to assist families to develop practical homemaking and child-rearing skills.**

***:

- **Full time opportunity.**:

- **It is a**genuine occupational requirement** that applicants are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders.**:

- **Government funded to 31 December 2027 with possible extension.**:

- **Level 3 under the SCHCADS Award. Salary range is $73,804 - $79,139 + Super.**

***About You**

***:

- **A Certificate III in Community Services or similar vocational qualification is desirable.**:

- **Extensive experience maintaining a successful family household, including budgeting, hygiene and cleanliness, safety, nutrition, cooking, shopping etc.**:

- **The ability to be non-judgmental and respectfully coach families in learning practical skills.**:

- **Experience working with children, young people and families in a community or education-based setting is desirable.**

- **Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.**:

- **Current driver’s licence.**:

- **Legally able work in Australia (proof of eligibility will be requested).**:

- **Willingness of a respected Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander cultural referee to vouch for your appropriateness for this role.**
