We are looking for an experienced Electrical Assembler to join our team at our head office in Wacol. At Icepack, we manufacture, install, and distribute sleeper cab air conditioners for trucks. This position is responsible for aiding in the assembly, maintenance and repair of Icepack components and products.

Your daily duties will include producing, testing and packing Icepack parts in the Electrical department. Ideally, you will have previous Electrical Assembly experience, preferably in a manufacturing, engineering, or fabrication environment.

**Day-to-day duties**:

- Producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
- Assembling electrical wiring harnesses, including preparing and crimping (electric and manual) connectors onto wire/cables, taping and sleeving.
- Preparing work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Working with other members of the line or group to assemble products.
- Using tools to make or repair parts and products.
- Packing finished products for shipment.
- Cleaning and maintaining work area and equipment, including tools.
- Any other reasonable task which may be required.

A high level of communication and comprehension skills is required for this position. The ability to complete work at a fast pace, in required time frames and to an extremely high standard is essential. Previous experience in manufacturing, engineering, or fabrication environment will be highly regarded.

**Salary**: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
