About the Role

As the Community Development Pathways Lead, your role will be leading the Community Development implementation of the Community Services and Housing Strategy across our HopeStreet Hub, focused on driving community-led change and transformation.

You will play a crucial part in nurturing the growth and development of place-based, community led approaches, providing strategic team leadership to bring about impactful and sustainable change through place-based collaboration and co-design.

About You

**Essential qualifications and experience**:
Degree or post grad qualifications in Community Development, Social work, or related field
Minimum of three (3) years working in a Community Services environment and Community Development
Current NSW Drivers Licence
Hold a current Working with Children Check
Hold a current First Aid Certificate or be willing to obtain a first aid certificate.

**Essential competencies**:
Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and promote the organisation’s values through interactions at work.
Demonstrated ability to lead and work as part of a team
Ability in creating, developing and implementing program plans within the Practice Frameworks of the Community Service Sector.
High level of negotiation skills and the ability to liaise with key stakeholders
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including computer skills
Demonstrate problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Demonstrate mediation knowledge and skills
