**Mechanical Trade Assistants**

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Trade Assistant to join our team based in
**Riverwood**.

This is a full time position that leads to permanent work. You will be working with heavy earth-moving equipment for a leading OEM manufacturer.

**Duties include -**
- Working for an OEM manufacturer
- Assisting tradesmen
- Basic MIG welding if you have the skillset - not essential
- Tear down and rebuiild of large earth moving components
- Fitting of handrails and stairs
- Nut and bolt work using OEM specific tooling
- Fitting of light bars & UHF radios

**Duration and Conditions -**
- Immediate Interviews and start
- Permanent AFTER completing short probation period
- **45-50 HOUR WEEKS**:

- **7am - 3pm PLUS OT**:

- **Payrate: $43 - $46.00 PER HOUR + PENALTIES ON OVERTIME**:

- Full Time Position
- Located in Riverwood

**Requirements and Experience -**
- An eye for detail - recognising basic product quality deviations
- Experience fitting and wiring up various accessories
- Welding experience highly regarded
- Experience working on earth moving or mining machinery is highly advantageous
- Reliable transport and valid licence
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude
- Own tools preferred but not required
- Forklift licence highly advantageous
