In this role you will be responsible for the 22 seat Bus transport services to the residents at First Fleet Village, Penrith.

You will also be required to perform basic labouring duties associated with general maintenance activities around the village when the bus is not being utilised.

Shift Schedule- Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays: 9am to 2pm_
- _We can be flexible on days and hours if needed_

You will be required to assist with day trips for residents with some wheelchair transport when necessary and other driving duties.

On times you will respond to general maintenance and repair requests from our residents, as well as maintain general upkeep and grounds maintenance of the village.

Your Day to day/ Preferred Attributes- An enjoyable personality that keep the spirits of our residents high and excited for days out- Driving residents to outings in the 22 seater bus- Ensuring Bus is clean and tidy and arranging maintenance of the bus when required- Responding to general maintenance requests in an efficient and timely manner- Assist residents with building maintenance and repairs works such as light globes, broken fly screens, minor lock repairs- Computer skills; knowledge of preventative maintenance advantageous- Liaise with contractors including providing access, organising repairs, and supervising when necessary- Current Light Rigid (LR) or Medium Rigid (MR) Drivers License or willingness to obtain- An understanding of aged care and the principles guiding this sector; ability to interact with the village residents on a day to day basis- Up to date vaccinations; Covid and Flu
