Role purpose
As the Adviser, you will have excellent engagement and communication skills, project management skills and ability in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The Adviser will be experienced in supporting engagement activity, and coordinating and managing information in customer relationship management systems to enable effective stakeholder management.
In addition to supporting the sector engagement team, the role will contribute to the management and coordination of department-wide engagement activity as needed.
Key accountabilities

**Operating at value range 1, you will**:

- Support the Principal Adviser, Sector Engagement and Coordination who is responsible for leading the high-profile engagement portfolio which includes but is not limited to stakeholders such as health services.
- Support the delivery of engagement activity across the engagement portfolios within the team.
- Ensure that approved processes are followed to improve the quality of information in the CRM by using the relevant tools, including guidelines and policies; monitor and evaluate the volume and quality of information being contributed to the CRM and its use; identify opportunities for improvement, and risks which may negatively impact the CRM.
- Assist in the provision of reports, briefs, and agency submissions on sector engagement and coordination.
- Retain a responsive portfolio focus whilst working collaboratively across the department.
- Assist in facilitating the flow of information across the department and to external stakeholders.
- Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
- Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and for that of others in the workplace by working in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate how the actions and outcomes of this role and work unit impact clients and the department's ability to deliver, or facilitate the delivery of, effective support and services.
