**About Us**:
Ministerial Services, Policy Reform and Programs (MSPRP) comprise several business units, including: Ministerial Services and Coordination, Policy Reform and Programs and Redress Design. These business units are responsible for providing critical departmental and Ministerial coordination support and delivering essential family violence programs and crime prevention grants. MSPRP is also responsible for delivery of priority justice policy reforms in line with departmental and Ministerial priorities. It also leads on crime prevention, family violence and the public intoxication reforms. MSPRP teams work in a dynamic environment, requiring agile policy teams to respond to key priorities as they arise.
**About the Role**:
The Adviser will provide advice to departmental staff about upcoming appointments to statutory entities, write, prepare and lodge Cabinet and Governor in Council paperwork for ministerial offices, deputy secretaries and the Secretary, and manage the probity process. The Adviser may also assist with the coordination of briefings for annual reports and overseas ministerial travel, as well as other duties as required.
**Some of your duties will include**:
- Preparing complex briefings, Cabinet and Executive Council documentation, instruments of appointment and correspondence in relation to statutory appointments in the Justice portfolio.

- Experience in coordinating significant volumes of documents and information requests.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, in restrictive timeframes.
- Good written and verbal communications skills.
- Knowledge of and/or experience in government and administrative processes.
- Understanding of Cabinet, Executive Council and legislative processes, or the ability to quickly acquire this knowledge.
**Qualifications**:
- A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable.
