Property Advisory Services (PAS) is a specialist team within BB, providing technical property expertise to frontline teams to drive growth, manage risk, and deliver positive customer outcomes.

PAS is committed to process improvement, product innovation, and identifying opportunities across the valuation, construction, and broader property sectors. The team also manages the commercial, rural, and specialised panel of property consultants, ensuring delivery of market-leading valuation and advisory services.

This is a newly created role offering an exciting opportunity to drive growth and shape lending policy for construction funding across BB.

**We’re interested in hearing from people who will aspire to**
- Lead the assessment and oversight of construction finance transactions from end to end.
- Review QS reports, payment schedules, and development budgets in line with business banking frameworks.
- Conduct technical due diligence on builder capability, contract terms, and construction risk.
- Design and deliver training to enhance frontline skills in construction risk and QS report interpretation.
- Build strong relationships with QS firms, developers, and builders.
- Engage early with deal teams to align on valuation, budget, and construction metrics.
- Review insurances, builder licences, and certificates to protect the bank’s security.
- Monitor drawdowns and payments, ensuring alignment with QS certifications and policy.
- Provide strategic insights to support internal policy development.

**Other qualities you may possess include**
- Strong analytical, report-writing, and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Skilled at translating complex construction concepts.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field, with professional qualifications preferred (AIQS/RICS).
- At least 5 years’ QS or project management experience.
- Deep knowledge of construction contracts, valuation, and risk frameworks.
- Experience collaborating with financial professionals is valued.
