We have a fantastic opportunity for a General Manager Risk & Compliance, reporting into the Chief Risk Officer, to support SJGHC achieve its operational objectives through:
- Providing risk and compliance advice to the Chief Risk Officer and the rest of the Executive Team.- Designing and implementing an effective enterprise risk management (ERM) and compliance frameworks.- Working with key stakeholders to enhance risk management practices and strengthen the control environment.- Designing and implementation of the policy governance framework.- Establishing and embedding a robust compliance framework to enable SJGHC, including all hospitals and services to be aware of, understand and comply with all relevant legislation, licensing requirements, corporate policies and obligations.- As the Privacy Officer, designing and implementing a privacy policy to support compliance with the relevant policy requirements.- Working with insurance brokers to design and place the insurance program for SJGHC.- Partnering with SJGHC Clinical Risk team to ensure appropriate linkages between SJGHC’s clinical governance framework and SJGHC’s overarching compliance framework.

You will have extensive experience in leading Risk & Compliance teams and performing risk and compliance activities, along with recent responsibility at a senior level for managing risk and compliance in a large scale, complex and geographically dispersed business.

To succeed, you will have a leadership style that is holistic, inclusive and exemplifies servant leadership, with experience in rolling out framework improvements across and demonstrated high level leadership and influencing skills in areas relevant to improving risk management and compliance.
