**About the Position**

Symes Thorpe Residential Aged Care Facility located in Toowoomba are currently looking for Personal Care Workers on a Casual basis to be able to work across all shifts including Night duty as required.

**A typical day may include**:

- Providing quality assistance with a range of activities
- Supporting residents with self-care
- Offering motivation and enthusiasm for residents to complete the jobs and tasks they wish to - promoting life enrichment and enjoyment

**About you**:

- Providing emotional, social support to residents in a companion-style role
- Being enthusiastic, compassionate and personable; encouraging and adaptable
- Desire to work as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication with the confidence & capacity to contribute to care plan documentation
- Be committed to supporting the elderly and comfortable working within professional boundaries and guidelines
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or similar
- National Police clearance
- Covid Vaccination evidence
- Hepatitis B & Tetanus immunisations
