**About the role**:
An exciting opportunity in our Merchandise team for an analyst with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail to monitor and report on our competition's pricing to ensure we deliver our 'everyday low prices' strategy

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Competitive Pricing Analyst within our dynamic Pricing team located at our support office in East Bentleigh, Victoria.

Reporting to the Pricing Manager, focus is on analysing the competitive landscape that affects our stores and online business to ensure we have accurate and relevant information to support our 'low price' promise.

If you enjoy detail and monitoring competitor catalogues and advising category Buyers on competitive prices, this key role ensures we deliver competitive pricing to our customers. Key aspects of this data driven role includes twice daily publishing competitive prices and price match guarantee reports for the buying team and proactive monitoring and reporting of competitor pricing across products, monitoring supplier websites and catalogues.

**About you**:
Leverage your experience working in a merchandise support or retail environment. With an understanding of market
- principles you are analytical and have exceptional organisational skills. Your attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines is second to none

Key to this role are established Excel skills (experience with Pivot Tables, V Look Ups and working with Formulas) and computer literacy. Interacting with internal teams such as Buyers, Merchandise Support and store teams, this pivotal role will suit a confident and clear communicator with drive and an organised approach to meeting deadlines.

As pricing needs to be monitored on weekends and public holidays also, this role requires a flexible approach to a **fortnightly roster of working approximately 5 hours (from home) every second weekend**.

While not in the role currently the position has future growth opportunities into areas of price optimising recommendations and analysis and mark down disciplines
