**Your Role**: As the Principal Program Officer, you will
- Support the design and delivery of evidence-informed kindergarten projects and initiatives
- Prepare communications for a range of audiences, including materials for teachers and educators
- Demonstrate accountability for the management of key initiatives through professionalism, persistence and transparency.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of kindergarten contexts
- Expertise in leading the delivery of a quality early learning program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children
- Understanding of the Queensland kindergarten learning guideline; National Quality Standard and Foundations for Success
- Experience in building strong relationships and collaboration to support inclusive and culturally responsive kindergarten programs
- Availability to undertake travel throughout Queensland

**A mandatory requirement**:

- It is a genuine occupational requirement for Identified roles that the position be filled by an Aboriginal person or a Torres Strait Islander person as set out in Section 7 of the Anti Discrimination Act 1991 for the purposes contained in Section 25 of that Act.
