Hays Technology are partnered with a Global Employment and Education Organisation to appoint an **experienced Cyber Security Analyst** with a Systems/ Network Administration background to work in a fast-paced agile environment based in Brisbane CBD.

**Your new role**

You will join the senior IT operations team and work with them to manage and implement security tools and be a part of improving their cyber security and compliance position.

Some of your day-to-day will look like:

- Fine tune security alerts and notifications on the Group’s monitoring platform.
- Detect, analyse and respond to cyber security incidents
- Monitor and analyse threats, and aid with incident detection, log analysis and monitoring.
- Investigate root cause, scope and impact of critical incidents.
- Involvement with systems and network infrastructure design, strategy and uplift/improvement project work.
- Vulnerability and patch management.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To succeed within this role, you will be experienced with the Microsoft stack in a Hybrid on-prem Environment.

As well as:

- ** 4+ years' **in a similar role
- Experience with** A**zure Sentinel **or similar SIEM.
- Experience in systems administration, SaaS and cloud infrastructure and networking within enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated experience in incident handling and remediation, log analysis or forensics.
- Good understanding and experience in** Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, Security Operations, or Cyber Threat Intelligence**.
- Knowledge of **Australian Government's Information Security Manual, ASD Essential Eight, **ISO 27001 frameworks.**

**What you'll get in return**

The annual salary on offer is based on your skills and experience between **$110,000 - $120,000 + Superannuation**.
