Our Exceeding-rated Ferny Hills campus is a warm and inviting childcare centre with four separate, dedicated outdoor play areas with lots of space for adventure and self-lead play. The campus thrives in teaching sustainability with a worm farm, vegetable garden and compost bin, all within an outdoor space that boasts a large timber fort with slide and climbing wall. Children are often taken on excursions and community activities that build on the children's interests and learning.
About The Role
**Key duties and responsibilities of the role include**:

- Planning and implementing the educational program which values a holistic view of each child's development
- Maintaining ongoing records of the children's development, program and daily information
- Assisting with daily room tasks - e.g. activity preparation and mealtimes
- Assuring the high quality of services in consideration of the National Quality Standards
- Ensuring compliance with relevant Government Regulations
- Guiding team members with their professional development, individual goals and performance.

Requirements of the Role
- A Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or equivalent ACECQA approved teaching qualifications
- Valid VIT registration (Early Childhood)
- Minimum two years full-time work experience
- Experience in planning and implementing the educational program which values a holistic view of each child's development
- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF
- Effective implementation of pedagogy in your teaching practice
- Valid employee Working with Children Check number
