**Project Overview**:
The Ar Rjum Project comprises a green field gold project with three open pit mining operations with associated waste dumps and ore stockpile, a processing plant, tailings management facilities, and supporting infrastructure including water supply, power supply, maintenance facilities, offices, temporary and permanent accommodation village.

The Project is situated within the Central Arabian Gold Region, approximately 200 km north-east of Taif towards Riyadh and about 26 km South of Al Mouwayh, which is a small town situated on the Jeddah - Riyadh highway.

**Job Summary**:
As a Structural Designer, you will use 2-D and 3-D computer-aided design (CAD) to develop design models and drawings for predominantly concrete and structural steel structures and industrial buildings. You will also assist with the development of work plans and review work prepared by designers/drafters.

**_This is a fulltime position with possible work from home options as per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with function or project leadership._**

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Assists in the development of design models and drawings for concrete and structural steel structures and steel detailing with minimum supervision.
- Ensures compliance with approved civil/structural design standards in own work and by those assigned, to provide quality design
- Coordinates the development of and reviews for the accuracy of bulk material quantity take-offs and material requisitions for materials applicable to the structural discipline
- Assists in the development of work plans, budgets, and schedules for basic civil/structural designer tasks based on input and direction from supervisor in designated discipline
- Provides on-the-job training for personnel within civil/structural design
- Generates 2D drawings or 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) design models with mínimal guidance from others
- Ensures civil/structural systems designs comply with all applicable installation codes, regulations, and standards

**Education and Experience Requirements**:

- Requires 4-5 years of relevant work experience as a structural designer

**Required Knowledge and Skills**:

- Design of a wide range of industrial structures including buildings (covered, opened), material handling structures, equipment supporting structures, building and equipment foundations, retaining walls, etc.
- Design and modelling of concrete and structural steel in 3D environment (e.g. Tekla, Smart3D)
- Assisting in preparation of discipline material take-offs
- Work in 2D environment while preparing drawings (e.g. Microstation)
