Fast-paced role which offers strategic planning responsibility - Joining a respected and reputable international Retailer - Opportunity to learn and work alongside an experienced Property Director JIVARO are currently exclusivey supporting a well known Global retailer who are on the hunt for a leasing and relationship guru. Our client has strong store network across Australia and New Zealand with a fantastic culture to match. This role is being recruited to support the Property Director to work through the retail lease negotiations to help align the portfolio with the changing needs of their business. The role is a mixture of day to day management alongside looking at value add opportunities on rent reviews, lease renewals and new store openings as well as offering strategic advice to the business. You will look after all current relationships as well as developing and maintaining new vendors for new stores and builds. You will have a strong track record of delivering diverse commercial property development programmes that provide material financial returns and meet demanding non-financial operational objectives. Due to the complex nature of a retail business model previous experience within this space is essential. - Navigating store openings and closures - Landlord and tenant management and relationship development - Carry out feasibility studies showing the viability of expending capital in relation to property opening, re-development and refurbishment - Invoices, service charge and budgets - Negotiating contracts and reviewing those already in place - Accountable from contract creation to store opening; managing the process and ensuring budget and costings remain effective to financial objectives - Confident to liaise and influence decisions of all stakeholders; from Legal, Finance, Retail Stores and Sales departments - Financially savvy; you are across the numbers and expected timeframes. Eagerly forecasting and reviewing progress. - Reporting figures to Senior Head Office Team; suggesting improvements - Working closely with the VM and design teams on new stores, project managing this end to end **To be successful**: - Culturally, you are the person who "rolls up their sleeves" and jumps in to any given task or project. - 3-5 years experience in a similar role, a background in boutique and concession retail environments would be highly advantageous - You can proactively manage numerous projects and store responsibilities simultaneously - An eye for the details, across each contract clause and financial backing required - Confident to report figures and progress to Senior Business Leaders - A true team player, you enjoy participating in strategy and future direction conversations, often pre-empting routes that will best work and investigating further. **Fantastic salary package on offer + career development and company culture perks and benefits
