We currently have a 2IC role available in **Campbell ACT 2612.**

**The 2IC role**:
As the Second in Charge (2IC), you’ll be a key leader in delivering high-quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about childcare and leadership, ready to make a meaningful impact on the children, parents, and team.

Your role will include:

- **Program Magic**: Assist in designing and delivering exciting, enriching activities that reflect the interests of the children in your program.
- **Stay Compliant**: Help ensure the program meets all industry regulations and standards.
- **Parent Champion**: Interact with parents and assist with their inquiries to provide outstanding support.
- **Community Connector**: Represent TeamKids within the school community by attending events, assemblies, and more when the Director is unavailable.
- **Bring the Fun**: Play, engage, and have a blast with primary school-aged kids.
- **Holiday Hero**: Co-manage or coordinate activities during the school holiday program.

**Required Hours**:
Before School Care: 7:00am - 9:00am
After School Care: 2:30pm - 6:00pm
Total Hours: 27.5 hours per week
- Passionate about working with kids, full of energy, and eager to have fun
- A strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ideally has previous experience in Before and After School Care or education, but we can provide training
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Seeking stable, permanent part-time hours.
- Has a current Working With Vulnerable Peoples Check (WWVP)
- Experience working in OSHC or an ELC program
- Qualified or studying towards an ACECQA-recognised qualification in Education, Youth, Sports Science, Social Work, Health-related fields, or similar.
