Experienced Medical Receptionist

**Richlands Medical Centre is looking for a receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team. The position offers around 20-30 hours a week, plus flexibility to cover sick/holiday leave an advantage.**

**The position is available for immediate start.**

**Administration experience required.**

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. Maintaining excellent administrative work and overseeing patient management, while providing updates to our doctors. Performing daily tasks and working collaboratively with other team members. Fostering a friendly and supportive work environment.

**Daily tasks will include (but are not limited to)**
- Welcoming patients to the clinic
- Answering phone calls and booking appointments
- Use of the Hot Doc booking and recall system
- Patient billing
- Scanning information onto the system
- Updating medical records and patient
- Supporting practice manager and doctors whilst working as part of a team.
- Closing the clinic
- Basic cleaning duties

**Skills and Experience**
- Medical Director experience an advantage
- **Administration experience required**:

- Reliability and flexibility
- Well organized and time efficient.
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent telephone skills are necessary
- Excellent customer service
- Be able to work in a team environment and independently

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Medical admin: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
