About the role
We currently have an opportunity for a proactive Support Worker to provide individualised and tailored practical supports for women, children and young people in refuge and crisis accommodation, who have experienced and/ or are currently experiencing family violence.
This position is instrumental in delivering high quality, safe and effective family violence and child well-being responses to those seeking support, safety, and recovery. The role consists of a rostered hours of work including sleepover, days, weekends and public holidays.
About You
With degree or working towards a qualification in social work, welfare or psychology, you have demonstrated experience in assessment and risk management, safety planning and crisis accommodation support. You thrive working autonomously and in a dynamic team environment, with the ability to prioritise competing demands. You will be a values driven person, motivated to make a difference and hold the client at the centre of everything you do.
