**Qualified Gardener - Bayside City Council**

Depot Location - Kilpa Road, Moorabbin

Citywide is recruiting for a **Qualified Gardener** to work on the maintenance of parks and gardens within our Bayside City Council contract.
- Full-time **Monday to Friday** (with weekend overtime available - dependent on the volume of work)
- Attractive working hours - **6.45 am to 2.51 pm**

**Duties of the role include but are not limited to**:

- Plant selection and creating planting plans
- Watering and irrigation maintenance
- Mulching
- Hedge trimming
- Herbicide spraying
- Pruning
- Weeding
- Supervise and train apprentices

**Essential Skills**:

- Previous experience in a similar gardening/soft landscaping role
- Excellent work ethic with ability to show initiative
- Working with Children Card

**Desirable Skills**:

- Cert III in Parks and Gardens or above
- Previous experience maintaining high profile parks and gardens
- First Aid Certificate
- Traffic Management experience
- Chemical Certificate
- MR Licence
- Flexibility to work overtime including weekends
