Disability Support Worker

Kind & Care Supports are growing in Beaumaris and surrounding We are looking to employ Disability Support staff who have availability, can be flexible and have a willingness to support others within the community.

There is the potential to pick up shifts in surrounding areas.

Must be available for either Morning, Afternoons.

Currently ongoing will have the following shift available
- Saturday & Sunday 3 pm-830pm, with the potential to pick up more.

Your working day may include (but not limited to),
- assistance and or support with daily life, including personal care, domestic activities
- social and community participation and varying skill development activities.
- Administering medications
- Manual Handling - which may include the use of a hoist
- Behavioural Support, managing challenging behaviours and Behaviours of concern

What we are looking for
- Passionate, motivated and reliable Disability Support Workers who pride themselves on excellent service delivery. If you have;
- Cert IV in Disability or relevant qualification* and/or equivalent experience;
- Currently undertaking Cert IV in Disability or equivalent.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid level 2;
- Current CPR (annual);
- Manual handling training;
- Administration of medication training;
- International police check (if applicable);
- An enthusiastic, reliable, empathetic and proactive approach with a desire to work with people of all ages and backgrounds living with a disability.

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Beaumaris, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
