Clayton, Australia PPG Industries Full time

**Key Responsibilities**
- To work with the Maintenance personnel in arranging servicing, adjusting and carrying out repairs and maintenance to plant, machinery and other equipment.
- Create routine maintenance schedules, shutdown plans, track and monitor maintenance KPIs.
- Manage service providers and equipment on site as required.
- Ensure materials and tools are adequately stored and all tools and equipment are maintained in mechanically sound and clean conditions.
- Raising of PO’s for the maintenance department.
- Initiate and manage capital projects from conception to completion.
- Work in conjunction with the Engineering manager to ensure all EH&S requirements and compliance standards for engineering are met

**Qualifications**
- Strong mechanical engineering background, with a minimum of 5-10 years’ experience with process and manufacturing experience
- Experience with working in hazardous environments and a sound knowledge of regulatory requirements is advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Build and maintain strong working relationship with staff and contractors
